Introduction
Glenn Ingraham began his
family owned business from his garage way out in the
chicken and mink farm country on the corner of what
is now Alderwood Mall Parkway and 164th Street in
Lynnwood, Washington.
Glenn's Welding today is the
culmination of a growth process that began with
production welding for the military and Seattle
businesses. As years passed, fabrication was expanded
to include fuel oil tanks, aluminum pack cans for
the garbage industry, truck scales, embeds, columns,
saddles, trailer hitch installation and small repair.
In the early 1980's Glenn
began retiring from the business. Today, the company
is
led by Glenn's sons; Dale, President and Mark,
Vice-President. They have continued building the
company to what
consists of three different departments:
The Fabrication Department
does the structural steel (columns and beams) and
miscellaneous steel items (ladders, handraillings,
and brackets). This department works with contractors
and does the larger building projects.
The Repair Department can fix
anything imaginable from french fry baskets for
McDonald's to custom truck racks and almost anything
a customer can dream up.
The RV Department on a yearly
basis now installs over 500 hitches and 400 tow
bars. They install Gear Vendors, Banks Systems,
exhaust brakes, SD performance packages and a complete
line of suspension components for every RV or pick-up
owner's needs.
The coffee is always on Monday
through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Come on
